Author Visits
A visit from an author provides a great opportunity to enthuse pupils about reading. It motivates pupils to undertake their own creative writing, and is a valuable learning experience.
An author visit is an enriching activity which motivates pupils, often providing an experience they will remember all their lives. It also promotes a writing culture in the school with an increased understanding and valuing of the process and craft of writing.
