Service Through Faith
Within the College there is a strong emphasis on Serving Others, as displayed in the values of our College Mission Statement.
As a Christian Community, we are inspired to:
- appreciate the values of kindness, honesty and service to others
- encourage individuals to participate in the life of the church
- seek to be a vital and integral part of local and wider communities.
Through the work of many teams at St Edward's, these values are translated into Service through Faith activities, which include Cafod, SVP, Sunday Club, Fairtrade, Eucharistic Ministers, the Christian Brother Immersion Programme and Lourdes, many of which are listed in the St Edward's and the Community section of this site.
The successes of the Service through Faith groups are testimony to the fact that within the College not only are the pupils growing spiritually, but they are developing skills which will be useful in later life.
