College Council
The College Council is a forum within which pupils can debate and actively work on issues that affect them within the College community. The Council is comprised of one representative from each form group, with one year representative elected from these for each year group from Year Seven to Year 11. The Council meets approximately every half term, or more regularly if necessary, to discuss selected agenda issues raised by pupils and members of staff.

Form representatives then address these issues and report back to the Council with news of their endeavours at the following meeting. The impetus is on the pupils to increase their role as a voice for their peers and this is aided by a staff representative who offers guidance and advice.
Over the years, the College Council has had numerous successes, such as the establishment of the annual 'Stars In Their Eyes' charity event, which has become one of the most eagerly anticipated events in the College diary.
More recently the College Council has played a large part in the evolution of the College's Colour System and the proposals for change have been incorporated into the new systems. The Council is also an active part of the Liverpool Schools' Parliament, and has had pupils holding such prestigious positions as President and Sports Minister. This year the Council is in the process of creating a school magazine.
The College Council looks to raise its profile even further with more successful ventures and by continuing to be a voice for pupils within the College and the local community.
