7 Clare Top Readers

Congratulations to 7C who became Top Readers 2010, collectively loaning over 700 books this academic year. Each pupil was awarded a certificate and bookmark to commemorate their support to the Learning Resource Centre.
Mrs Clarke, LRC Manager, was very proud of the class for their contribution to reading and hopes that their love of books continues into next year.
Reading for pleasure not only impacts on reading achievement but also increases general knowledge, gives a better understanding of other cultures, a greater insight into human nature and decision making. It also enables the reader to improve their comprehension, grammar and writing ability.
Well done 7C!
