Enterprise Day with Compact

On Thursday 21 January, Year 11 had a day off normal timetable to work on their Enterprise skills with Compact. The Enterprise day supported the development of the knowledge and understanding, skills and attributes that young people require to thrive in their future working lives.
Pupils worked on three different tasks set by Compact. The groups/activities were:
• Merseytravel
• Royal Navy
• Natwest
• Town and Planning
• Army
• Identity and Passport
• Best Dressed
• Why are we weighting
The tasks set were challenging, but very enjoyable. For example, in one task the pupils had to design and dress a peer ready for interview only using bin bags and paper, and in another they had to drop an egg without breaking it.
