College Rules

  1. Pupils must behave responsibly, sensibly, politely and with common sense at all times

  2. Pupils must attend all lessons on time: failure to do so without good reason is a serious offence.

  3. Pupils must always try their best.  Disruptive behaviour during lessons is a serious offence and will not be tolerated.

  4. Whilst in College, all pupils must wear their College Lanyard and ID Card.

  5. Pupils must adhere to the College uniform regulations.

  6. Pupils must use their locker to store their belongings.

  7. Pupils must adhere to the mobile telephone/electronic devices regulations set out in the homework diary.

  8. Pupils must not bring any items into school which are valuable.

  9. Pupils must not bring any items into school which place any individual at risk of harm.

  10. Pupils must not enter changing rooms unless changing for a PE lesson or appropriate extra-curricular activity.

  11. Pupils must not leave College without permission, and without signing out nor go 'out of bounds'.

  12. Pupils must respect the property of others. Any pupil who damages the property of another pupil, or school property, will be expected to pay for such damage and disciplinary sanctions may be imposed if appropriate.  Any pupil who engages in theft is liable to temporary or permanent exclusion.

  13. Any form of bullying, violent behaviour, racist, sexist or homophobic abuse will not be tolerated and any pupil who behaves in this way is liable to temporary or permanent exclusion.

  14. Tobacco, alcohol and illegal substances:                                  
    The possession and/or consumption of tobacco by pupils is not permitted. 
    The possession and/or consumption of alcohol by pupils is not permitted.                                                                                     
    A breach of this rule is most serious and renders the offending pupil liable to temporary or permanent exclusion.                   
    Any pupil possessing any illegal substances is liable to immediate permanent exclusion.

  15. The College will report any illegal activites by a pupil to the appropriate authorities.
