Geography
The educational goal of the Geography Department is to cultivate Geographers who enjoy the subject in school and engage with the discipline in everyday situations at any given opportunity to ensure they are responsible citizens - thinking globally, acting locally and living sustainably - operating as role models for society.
The curriculum Learning Journey is a combination of traditional and contemporary concepts and case studies providing a holistic education with multifarious opportunities to engage in critical thinking and decision-making - key skills for the 21st century celebrating the subject's interdisciplinarity. This is enriched by a first-class fieldwork programme where all pupils and students across all Key Stages from Year 7 to 13 can enjoy the on-campus internal and external fieldwork programme.
