Chess Tournament

Last Friday, pupils from different year groups gathered to participate in the Chess Tournament held in the College Hall. It was a Knockout competition with each game lasting 7 minutes with 5 second increments. It was a tough competition that started from 11am to 2.30pm.

All players were invited back to watch the final game during Period 5. It was a tense battle between Year 9 pupil vs Sixth Form student.

Ultimately, John C in Year 9 was crowned the winner of the Chess Tournament 2024!
